RecommendedThe staff here is so amazing! Everyone is seriously so nice. I transferred here late in my pregnancy at 33 weeks and I’m so happy I did! I could have not made a better decision. The care here is above and beyond what you’re gonna get at any hospital! They already had the tub ready for me with nice hot water when I got there! 🙌 The midwife was so thoughtful and patient and kind. I could not have had a better experience for my last birth. I wish every woman would decide to deliver here!
I will forever recommend the birth center to anyone wanting to have a natural birth! Everything from prenatal care to delivery and all the support from all the midwives the whole time it was just amazing! Amie Hernandez and Justine were the two there for the delivery and they were so incredibly encouraging and supporting the entire time!and our little Man was justines first delivery at the birth center since she’s been there it was all truly an amazing experience!
We visited the center recently and while it is a nice facility they are not natural at all. Requiring at least two ultrasounds and the gestational diabetes test instead of getting to know the patient and realizing they have zero chances of getting GD. And then to top it off I get a lovely text message today (that I did not sign up for as we are not going to have our baby here) reminding me to get my flu shot “especially if I’m pregnant”. We delivered our first child at the birth center and had an absolutely amazing experience. The midwives and birth assistants are phenomenal and truly care about mom and baby. We traveled from Peoria and it was well worth the drive! Highly highly recommend!!
I can't give this place enough praise!! After a horrible experience at one of our local hospitals I decided to give this place a try. I delivered my last two kids at the birthing center. Both my 2 yr old and 6 week old was delivered by the amazing Amie Hernandez. My labors never last long and I get really mean, but Amie is extremely knowledgeable and helpful through it all. My daughter was born here one year ago today and as we celebrate River I am reflecting on her beautiful and transformative birth. The care, empowerment, love and support we received was powerful for both my husband and I. A year later the Birth Center still matters to us and we are so glad it's a part of Rivers story.
I had my first son at the birth center and couldn’t be happier with with care I received throughout my pregnancy and delivery. The midwives are so kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. They listen and care about you and your little one. Each visit leading up to birth was filled with joy, laughs, and hugs. I was able to have the natural water birth I wanted without any unnecessary interventions. It was a truly amazing experience and I plan to birth my future babies at the center when the time comes ♥️
I birthed my 3rd child at The Birth Center on April 9th and it was by far the best care I have ever received during a pregnancy or birth. From the heartfelt care I received at each appointment to the exceptional postpartum care I received after my daughter was born, I would recommend to any expecting mother.
