Very happy- seemed very confident with what he was doing, but not at all dismissive about making sure I was comfortable with everything- some 'confident' doctors act like you're wasting their time if you want any reassurances or have any questions- not so with Dr. Cissell- I had to go see him bc a general dentist who SHOULD HAVE referred me for a root canal needed on a molar tried to do it herself. Did this provider answer all of your questions? Every question I had was answered thoroughly Was this provider's staff friendly? Yes, they went above and beyond Did you leave the office feeling satisfied with your visit? Completely! Was this provider's office easy to locate? Absolutely! It couldn't have been easier!

I was new to Birmingham and was having severe tooth pain. Dr. Cissell saw me that same morning and did a wonderful job on my root canal. Then a few months later, I was having a tooth pain at night and called the office planning on leaving a message in hopes I could be called back in the morning. dr. cissell is a very aggressive man, he creates a very hostile environment for not only his staff but also his patients at times. he is mentally unstable, not only does he verbally abuse his staff but he has been known to work on patients without his shirt on. he is extremely unproffessional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!there are not enough words in the english language to fully describe this man. SAD SAD SAD SAD SAD

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this jerk. He throws instruments, has fits, throws patients out of his office on a whim, and shouts profanities at his patients on a regular basis. On at least on occasion I know of, he physically assaulted a patient. He is probably insane.
