The staff was wonderful and patient and did excellent with my children and their curiosity! Will definitely be going back! :)
Staff is super nice when you ask for help, and totally love just stopping by to see the pretty birds. Store is also great for all beaked animals. I don't have birds but I have turtles, and we go to the shop for great priced cuttle bone chews and perches to use as sunning places. Prices are great and so is quality. The blue macaw is a total stinker who loves attention. And doesn't care what the staff is in the middle of. Lol.
I absolutely love this place. I like to go here sometimes just to hang out and talk to the birds. They are so entertaining. The staff don't seem to mind people coming in just to browse. They are more than willing to answer any questions people may have, but don't be surprised if they don't greet you when you walk in. They are very busy making sure that all the birds there are well cared for. I would rather them do that than worry about saying hello to me as I walk in. My grandchildren love this place! Owner seems very good about letting people come in just to browse.
I had an amazing time playing with the largest parrot in the world !! He was such a sweetheart ! We also successfully got our bird ready to spend some time there while we travel for the holiday !
Want a bird, or just want to get an understanding. The staff at The Bird Shop are so willing to help in any way. They just don't want to sell a bird. They want to make sure the bird finds a good home.
2 weeks ago I took my son in there to see what type of bird he wanted trying to give him options and no one said hello when I walked in the door , Then I told them why we were there and they took us in the room with the birds and that was about it, and they really acted like it was a issue for my son to be there with me. I was so disappointed because in the past I have purchased 2 birds from them and spent LOTS of money in that store.
