Super comfy beds! Nice owners and employees, we were very impressed will definitely return
We have stayed here every time we travel this way. I'd like to stay more than one night sometime. Clean and friendly. The rooms have little kitchenettes and they are pet-friendly. Love this place.
Big and beautiful grounds where I can walk my dog, Pepper around long enough to her satisfaction. The outdated room is nice and clean and free breakfast is a plus. The rates are unbelievable low. The owner knows sign language is a big bonus for us, the deaf guests.
We had a wonderful stay here. Stayed just over a week and enjoyed every minute of it. Incredibly clean rooms and grounds and the people that work here are so kind and welcoming! We can't wait to come back here for our next vacation to the U.P. ❤️
Price was right, folks were very accommodating, location was great, rooms were A+.
Very nice owner and staff, very clean rooms, beautiful area, across the street from Superior and great rates.

Private, nice little picnic table with Lake Superior on one side and a wooded area on the other. We had dinner at Portside Inn and it wa... read more
Lovely view... Nice front yard.. Love being able to walk out the door and sit on the veranda. However, that being said, felt it was a bit over priced, seeing as how, the maids, never once made up the bed, or bothered to vacuum, or, take out the trash... I mean for over $100.00 a night for an older motel, you'd think they could make up the bed! If your going to charge 5 star prices you could at least vacuum.
