Stayed here the first week of May when Lake Superior was still frozen with patches of snow on the ground. It was absolutely beautiful watching the sun rise and set every day - with the added bonus of seeing the ice melt on Lake Superior! You get both vintage and modern in the room and everything is exceptionally clean. The owner and staff were all so friendly and accommodating, I decided to try make it back at the end of the summer! Love Birchmont motel. The staff is very nice. The heated pool is great. My room was clean and roomy. The breakfast was perfect-oatmeal, cereal, nuts, cheese, bagels, juice, fresh picked blueberries

Beautiful view, very nice and homey. Would definitely go there again
Great area - clean room- has mini kitchen with coffee pot- toaster stove top-microwave- sink- dishes- beds comfortable- end room on bottom nice and private - next to woods- deck facing Lake Superior across the street - nice view- however busy road with traffic noise - so not quiet when sitting outside -free continental breakfast in morning with quit a few choices- was very nice- decent price per night- owners pleasant and very acommodating when we asked for a few items we needed for grilling!!
