Congratulations on a well deserved piece in Bon Appetite. I have been enamored of Birch since it opened, still feel it's one of the best restaurants in New England on par with restaurants in other major cities. When Oberlin opened I had mixed feelings, thought it might be a casual Birch but was afraid it would take away from Birch. Relaxing atmosphere with a simple and clean layout. Seating is limited around a U-shaped bar immediately as you step into the door off the sidewalk and are greeted with welcoming hellos and smiles. The chef creates very unique dishes that we found to be quite delicious. Perfect textures and flavor combinations. Portions are small but proved to be filling and just enough to make you want more. Thank you for the perfect ending to a night on the town!
