i just started going alot of them are nice but personally i think they need to be trained better the one even said hes fresh out of highschool and had no phlebotomy training . one girl was nervous to stick me noone would help her she tried hurt me so ive had a bruise for a while and i dont bruise like that other lady whose apparently been there a while was really rough and put needle in to where it was about to fall out still hurts almost a week later !!!! and your supposed to go twice a week how can i when they keep hurting... read more
no respect for their donor's time. what used to be a (at most) 90 minute visit has now doubled, due to poor scheduling practices. I only continue donating right now because I'm still furloughed, once I can work again, I doubt I will return.

Back in July I received a text saying I would get 50 dollars in addition to the 50 dollars they were giving to donors. The first time I went I had to call after I left because they only gave me 50 out of the 100. I waited for over 40 minutes over the phone and spoke to two different people . The second person told me it had been resolved and the money was there. When I went for my 2nd donation I had to call again to get the money I was promised. called up there to see if my husband was still donating cause there was an emergency & he doesn't have a phone. Was told they can't tell me if he was there or not that they're not allowed. Even in an emergency they wouldn't tell me. I get there's regulations but hell it's an emergency. She didn't even offer to ask the boss or manager or whoever which is just as bad. That is as low as a business can get. It's pathetic as hell that they would do people like that.

I got banned for life..because i spoke rudely to an employee. another donor puked during their donation. so ALL the employees just stood around her watching the 1 person clean it up. my donation was done, had been done, I kept waiting, & I started to get nauseous. I did kinda rudely tell them I needed unhooked and to sit up. I didnt cuss, degrade anyone, assault anyone in any way . then when I went back to donate next, they had me go in a screening booth to tell me i was banned forever. that was not right at all. guess you d... read more
I've donated at your Salt lake center twice a week for 4 plus years. At the beginning of July I went in to donate and realized I forgot my face mask. I thought it's okay they've got masks on the table by the door I'm sure they'll give me one. They refused to give me one and said they're only for new donors. They blacklisted me from ever donating at your center again. I think that's a pretty poor way to treat a loyal donor.
