I started donating plasma during the pandemic. I worked from home and had plenty of time on my hands. I did it for the extra money. Later I learned how important donating plasma is. I have absolutely loved my experience. The facilities are clean, the process is easy. Most days you are in and out in under 90 minutes. The only negative is they are understaffed. At times the workers are performing numerous jobs. They need a raise. They work with hard with good and friendly attitude.
I am proud to announce I have been donating plasma on a regular basis for about a year now and I’ve never felt better. Knowing I, along with Grifols, am helping to save lives leaves me with a feeling of accomplishment each and every time I donate. The price I pay for that feeling is only a few hours each week. After one unsuccessful donation I was told to come back in a couple days...which I did and then they told me that I couldn't donate that day because of the bruise I had on my arm which was fine but what irritated me most is they wouldn't even try the other arm so I thought ok I will come back...and 4 days later I did. They told me the bruise wasn't gone enough because it is barely visible and that I would have to come back and restart the entire process...physical...the 4 hour waiting bs...etc...just plain ridiculous!!!
