Such beautiful surroundings and the tour was fun and educational. Followed up by the wine wine tasting and lunch at the cafe. Can't wait to return to Asheville soon. White wines were very delicious and we bought a few bottles for the trip.
It's a beautiful Historic Hotel I was very happy to stay there and would stay again very very very old very very nice
Dirty and run down. The bed was like sleeping on lumpy, hard oatmeal.
Hotel charged my card " accidentally and in error ", hotel staff said . My bank had to deactivate my card because they considered the charge by the hotel staff as fraudulent .
This was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The parking is 2-3 blocks away. The room was rundown and dirty. There was a strong odor of Marijuana coming thru the AC vents and the surrounding rooms. Stayed there out of desperation, because I had an appointment at Johns Hopkins early on a Monday morning and didn't want to fight the traffic, coming from Delaware. Never again will I stay here. Positively the worst,from check in to check out.
I was going to give this place a 3/5 or maybe even a 4. It's affordable and clean. The staff are friendly and accommodating. That is until I found a crack pipe in the bathroom mirror...
This is a great place, wonderful staff and old world charm. Highly recommended!
