Have been there three times...great food and service each time...HOW EVER you should take reservations . Waiting 40 minutes is excessive...even our server agreed that reservations should be taken for all...not just large groups....more bartenders are needed on weekends...we never got our second drinks...server said bartenders are swamped....�
Absolute horrible experience waited 2 1/2 hours for food that we ended up canceling! Drink service was slow and while we waited heard all different reasons...ie: lost our ticket twice, printer down, chef walked out three days ago....I have yet to have a good experience with service there and that is a shame because it has an awesome atmosphere! Get it together Tarpon Turtle if you get it right you have no competition!

What a great experience!! The food was great, the service was great, and the atmosphere was beautiful!! I'm heading back home to WI, but I will definitely recommend this place to anyone I know coming this way!!
This was our 3 rd visit. However., we got a bad waiter this time. It took 30 minutes for a soda, and 1 hr later he came to our table to say 2 of our meals were no longer available. We were famished and had brought a guest. We got up and told the waiter We were leaving. We asked for a manager. She settled it by taking our check for soda and cup of soup. We will go back. But won't use Marcos.
Great location. Great food. Great service. Everything we have on the menu was delicious. Our server, Beth, was very professional and on the ball.

Just wanted to say what a great time we had at the Tarpon Turtle. We ordered coconut shrimp for an appetizer and it was very good! I had an entree with Chicken and rice in a bowl. I really liked it! We felt like we were on vacation in Key West. Great atmosphere. A little chilly for the deck on the lake that night but we will be back!
