Great food, great outdoor atmosphere. Had a great waitress, Sarah. She did an outstanding job of taking care of the five of us. Would highly recommend this place whether you reach it by water or land.
Love the spot on the lake.....hate the very slow service! Also wish they sold the banana pineapple dip to take home to Canada. Also..kids left new hats at the table hung on chairs. Called next day and no one's seen them. How is that possible?
Food was good, service wasn't so good the waitress blamed the kitchen , again food was really good Hopefully it was an off night
Food and drinks were fine. Setting is great, of course. Service wasn't fabulous. We waited and waited between table visits from our not-very-friendly waitress; and at the end, after waiting for the check for a long time, she literally just threw it on the table without a word, and went right to a table near us - to socialize. :/ That was the only & main disappointment during an otherwise okay experience.
Food was great. Tristen did a super job. We will be back.
I loved the water Front location, casual atmosphere and live entertainment!!! I ordered the lobster bisque, which I am very picky about. The flavor was delicious, especially because they have sherry in it. The lobster chunks however were chewy, I believe because it was frozen lobster. The Mahi Mahi sandwich I ordered blacked, but it came grilled. The fish also tasted like frozen fish. It was dry and in a perfect rectangle shape. Have not had a bad meal once in all the time we have come to Tarpon Turtle. Food is so flavorful, whatever you order.
Went back there after several years. I remembered their Cuban Sandwich was pretty tasty. Finally went back to visit today and ordered it. It tasted different. Finally realized it was missing the pulled pork...fail. Nice atmosphere, but come on kitchen!!! Because the owners acknowledged my review and wanted us to visit again, very good customer service! Thank you!
