My wife and I, we have been going to Billy's for a very long time. The service has always been great and the food, especially the fish and chips, spectacular. We moved away and now that we are back in the area will continue the tradition of going there every summer for lunches.
Good food. Asked twice for water, never got it. Server was talking at bar, never once came to table to check with us
met some really nice people at the bar....if you visit Wells, Maine this should be one of your meal stops!

We come to Maine once a year and always make sure we go to Billy's Chowder House. The food is great as well as the service.
Great ambiance and Bartender/nickie the best, but haddock chowder with mostly potatoes slightly disappointing at a chowder house. It is the best happy hour and venue Andi AMA low life for not giving five stars for the incredible service alone!' My wife and I agree Nickie is one of the finest servers eva!
The steamers and beer are great! We love Billy's and visit as often as we can
