Excellent food and service
We had the lobster dinner and it was delicious. Our server, Cindy, was very pleasant and efficient. Would recommend this place. Nice salt marsh views too.
The baked scallops were excellent. My husband had the haddock special in citrus pesto butter and said it was outstanding. The service was quick and unobtrusive, so I would recommend Billy’s Chowder House to everyone!

We have been going to Billy's for at least 15 years, maybe more. Recently, since my father isn't as mobile, we order food to go. Today we paid $101 for four plates. We didn't receive one side baked potato, and my mother's fried clam bellies were mainly batter with few bellies. I called to share this, since Billy's staff has always been responsive. I was surprised to be spoken to by a man who was curt and dismissive, only providing a company line about weighing the bellies. The response felt much more like what I would expect... read more
