We were there Tuesday night. The staff bent over backward to seat us in the bar. Our meal was excellent as expected. Never a disappointment.

First time for my family and I (7 of us) in total. I must say, I wasn’t sure what to expect but the food was fantastic. Everyone loved their meals and our wait time to be seated was less than 10 Minutes on a very Busy Saturday evening. The only con is the Valet parking, the valet attendant needs to do a better job in getting the car in a safe area for pick up. Excellent clam chowder ! Caesar salad Delicous ! Combo platter ,full of seafood . Couldn’t substitute onion rings for frys , they were ok .all in all exceptional !!!
I was hoping with the name "Billy's Chowder House" that the clam chowder would be out of this world, but unfortunately for me it was not. I have been eating chowder this week all over Wells Maine and this was by far the most disappointing cup of chowder I have had.

Amazing food and our server was on point!!!! As busy as this place was , she was absolutely the best !!! We had a party of ten which 6 of them were children and they were very accommodating and friendly !! We will return again next year !!
