Went to Billy's for some seafood as we were driving up the coast and we were utterly disappointed. I got the full seafood plate with lobster, clams and chowder. All of it was disappointing. The lobster was sickly and did not taste like a Main lobster. The clams were all open which was a plus but there was maybe a half a pound present. stayed in Wells Beach, this past weekend, had lunch here Saturday, the chowda, was awsome, as well as all the food we ate, friendly atmosphere, bartenders were great people, we will be back

Great place for fresh seafood. Buck a shrimp on Tuesday’s and Oysters on Wednesday’s, can’t beat it.
While we haven’t been here in a few years,due to Family commitments,this is always our go-to establishment when we visit! The food is expertly prepared,delicious,and always more than enough! Wells,Maine was the very first vacation my now Wife and I ever took,and Billy’s Chowder House was the first place we ate at! It has given us cherished memories! I highly suggest anyone who hasn’t dined here,to do so!
