Took interest in my problem, recommended good treatments.
Doctor and staff were professional yet friendly. Doc performed minor toe surgery with skill while being attentive to making surgery painless. Follow-up care , including returning phone calls was great. I saw the doctor at both his Southgate and Florence offices. Both offices had pleasant atmospheres and were surgically clean. I would recommend Dr. Shamsi to anyone with foot problems.
I really liked the way he explained the problem with my feet. He did say I was a good candidate for surgery. He explained what that would entail. But recommended other things to try first. Which is what I am going to try.
Today was the first time meeting Dr. Shamsi and it went very well. He introduced himself, gave me a nice firm handshake and then spent a few moments getting to know me. He was very pleasant and professional. He gave me a cortisone shot in the heel and was finished before I even realized it - very little pain!!!!! Thanks Doc - I was worried about that. He also told me about inserts that would help my heel pain so I purchased them. I hope they do the trick! Thank you Dr. Shamsi!
I love Dr Shamsi! He is very nice and professional and listens to my issues. I have bone spurs on both of my heels. I came into his office barely being able to walk fearing surgery. Dr Shamsi referred me to a wonder St Elizabeth physical therapist, Eric Mooney. I have been doing all the recommended exercises. I feel a huge improvement in my feet. Thank you to both gentlemen for their commitment in restoring my health.

Excellent doctor. I love the fact that he really takes the time to listen to al my concerns and addresses them all. He never rushes out to see his next patient and takes as much time as need for each of my appointments. He makes sure to try all options available before recommending surgery.
I saw Dr. Shamsi for plantar faciatis. I started seeing him when he first was hired at St. Elizabeths in Florence, Ky. I failed cortisone shot after cortisone shot. I finally went in to schedule surgery. He listed to me in the beginning of my treatment. I told him I didn't want surgery. He offered a new experimental treatment that worked for me. I am now living pain free without having to go under the knife. I highly recommend Dr. S to all of my friends and family.
