Bill is great. The shop is classy AF.
Most comfortable barber shop in Humboldt county, actually the nicest barber shop I've been inside. Bill has nice leather couches and furniture, plenty of reading while you wait. Often people will stay a little after their cut just to hang out for the conversation. I don't even need to try and justify Bill's skill, he hasn't just learned a process, he is an intelligent person who understands the nuances and will even explain them to you if you so desire. Very classy establishment. My visit started with a 10 minute, walk-in haircut for under $20. It was a simple haircut and I was pleased. Small-talk escalated into meaningful discussion, and an hour later Bill and I had covered family, philosophy, movies, and career goals. Leather chairs and a stocked humidor provided the perfect atmosphere for manly and moral conversation. I will definitely come back.
Make an appointment for a shave and a haircut. It's well worth it.
