Is there parking at the Festival at Ford Wardsworth? In case we want a friend to meet us there and then head back to Philly as opposed to taking the ferry back to Staten Island?
I received an email saying Bike New York is going green.....if they were really going green, they should mail us our packets instead of making us come from wherever we are and make an unnecessary trip into, out of and back into the city. Many are coming from far distances. Doesn't seem green to me.
I am also looking for 1 or 2 tickets. Please contact me if you have any spares. Thanks!
NY Waterways is going to be operating ferry service from Paulus Hook to World Financial Center on weekends till 5/4. This would be a good thing for those of us in NJ who would normally take the PATH to World Trade Center except that the earliest ferry leaves at 8 AM. I e-mailed NY Waterways asking them to run earlier ferries that day to accommodate 5 Boro riders and got the "We'll look into it" response. Maybe if more of us ask them they might offer additional ferries.
