My family and I had a great time!! Extremely organized!! All the workers and volunteers were very pleasant and helpful.

Your whole bike expo thing to get your package is horrid. At present, the line to get in extends all the way to the Manhattan bridge. How pathetic is that? This will be my last time at this event.
This is my 20th yr. It used to be nice, simple and something that a family could afford.Now they are trying to turn into the Super Bowl week. Can't believe they make you come into the city (more money) to get the vest and go to their expo.
The registration fee is absolutely outrageous. RAGBRAI is a bike ride in Iowa which is 7 days (and nights!). The price for a full week plus is $150. ( and that includes carrying your luggage for you and setting up overnight stops). Also I rode Bike New York (almost) continuously from 1984-2012. I truly believe that the fun factor has declined dramatically over the years. (Though it was the exhorbitant registration fee that caused me to stop.)
