Bike Bakersfield is a nonprofit bicycle advocacy group. Our mission is to promote bicycling as a safe, fun and environmentally friendly means of everyday transportation. We run a community bike repair shop that sells both new and used bikes and parts. You can come to our shop to use our tools and work space for you to learn how to repair your own bicycle! Well from my experience in the actual shop(Bike Bakersfield) today... We didn't accomplish being able to ride our bikes because we left without the parts we needed to ride. I need a 24 inch rim for my little brothers bike and some different seat for mine and my boyfriend's bikes. So we will be driving our van on the roads until we find the right parts. If anyone can help us get the parts we need we have parts to trade.
