Issues the last 3 times we've come. Had to wait almost an hour for a salad because they didnt have lettuce, so someone went to Hansens to get a Crappy bag of iceberg lettuce. Spouse was completely done eating before I even got a simple salad. Another we were apparently forgot about because we were given corn muffins for waiting for so long. Today we were told 25 min wait for the Sunday wing special, AND they didn't have smoked chicken for the wrap I ordered; ordered a couple burgers medium and medium well. 35 min after order... read more
I want to like Big Boar, and I’ve eaten here a few times over the past three years. Unfortunately, $20 for pulled pork and 3 bones is not a good deal. Good food, but small portions and pricey.
RecommendedBest ribs in the laCrosse area. Fall off the bone. Sauce on the side. Really good!

We had a celebration at Home Depot today and ordered Big Boar BBQ for the entire staff. I had more compliments and people saying let’s do this again..... even with the Covid restrictions we got individual meals and employees were happy !! If your not familiar with Big Boar try them out - say hello to Jerry and Donna too.
Big Boar has amazing food and service! We love to dine in and to take it to go. Enjoy!!
they stated they had a special at a certain price then when I called to place an order the price was completely different and they refused to honor what they advertised
I ordered the ultimate platter, drove from Tomah to pick it up 1.5 hours round trip, $65 spent on food, get back home there is no sauce, I called them, they said you have to ask for sauce.. I ordered bbq not smoked meat.... its in the name, I never in my life had to beg for bbq sauce. They have good food but pettiness has lost my business.
We got the ultimate platter and the wings special for take out tonight. Everything was delicious!! My whole family loved it and my two boys gave it 5 stars! Highly recommend!
First time ordering from here. We got the ultimate platter but everything was very bland. No sauce was given and it was quiet expensive.
