We interviewed many solar installers. The quotes we got were all over the map. There were extra charges for plywood if needed to be determined by the company installing. We wanted 100% power supplied and most companies pushed for a lease option. we were not looking for a lease. We also needed a new roof. My mother was skeptical about solar after buying a home with solar panels installed by a company that went out of business. However after a free consultation with Big Wave(sparked by her additional $300+ bill from PSE&G), she decided to add more panels and will save a significant amount through an additional solar system Big Wave was able to provide her with — at absolutely no cost, just a much lower bill!! Thank you!
First and foremost there was no sales pitch. I will not deal with someone who cannot have a conversation, but rather sound programmed. We were just two people sitting down talking, listening to each other.. My concerns were answered and the best solution was presented. Very knowledgeable and informative. I already have a brand new roof and the appropriate trees have been removed. So we were already a step ahead of the game. Definitely something we are considering.
