Service was excellent we just had coffee before dinner...me and my friend Sue just went for a drive and enjoyed our visit we'll visit i again. Nov. Thurs 17th afternoon.
Just had our 4th big event there. the staff is always very accommodating. We love the grounds whether we're outside on the patio overlooking the river or inside by the fire it's our favorite Big Sur stop. The great food is a bonus!

Big Sur river inn is in a good location and liked the river chairs but found the restaurant and hotel expensive .
Had a delicious rib eye steak! Tasted like it was cooked right at home in the BBQ, made my day! I'll be back for another on my way back through in the spring!
