Treated like a criminal for bringing a reuseable shopping bag I have been going here several times a week since I moved to the area, and have always had great finds at a reasonable price. The prices here have sky rocketed. Seen radios marked $180. Apple keyboard used for $70 (sell on eBay for $30 free shipping) Apple all in one for $300 (sell on eBay refurbished for $150 free shipping.) I used to find good deals that I could brag about. Now I am shocked that a “THRIFT” store would be higher than ebay. WOW!!!! Also they are completely rude and have no customer service manners.
entirely over priced and rude. people go to thrift stores for a deal, to find stuff at a good discount. this place wants more than I've ever seen anywhere else. please save your time and money for America thrift up the road
The people who run the store are evil and bad. One woman, in particular, spoke to me rudely without any reason. The owner tossed me away like I was trash (which I wasn't - I had worked hard and honestly). I was treated with much disrespect which I had not warranted.
Terrible Bessmer Location – Beware of this location in Bessemer. The book prices are comical. You have uneducated people putting outrageous prices on something they do not know anything about. The books are falling on the floor they have so many and no one is buying them. Everytime I go in- there is this obnoxious country music playing on the radio. No other genres are played. Going Downhill The Bessemer location is a joke. The book prices are a joke. I picked up a older textbook and they had 19.99 on it?????? Also, the country music playing EVERY time I enter the store is very annoying. I could see if they alternate music choices but Country every time tells me all I need to know.
