We are a locally owned, and operated restaurant. We make everything from scratch. "R" Homemade rolls, and pies are a customer favorite. We offer a variety of Hickory smoked meats, as well as hand cut steaks. There is something for everyone here at Big R's

I have been to Big R's alot of times. Last night it was very yummy! My steak was cooked right and my hubbys food was good also
Sandwiches are good, it’s hard to screw up pulled pork or brisket. Ribs are not good, they don’t remove membrane off the bottom to allow smoke to penetrate meat and add flavor, they were overlooked tasteless and greasy. Good slaw and sandwiches. Wouldn’t recommend the ribs at all.
I went yesterday, and the big chicken fried steak was very tough. The susie ques where cold and hard. Then i get a full banana creme pie, the crust you cant bite into it, too much cool whip on top of it. I was very disappointed, was not worth $52.00, wont be going back, big bens in carthage there food is so much better
