We are a locally owned, and operated restaurant. We make everything from scratch. "R" Homemade rolls, and pies are a customer favorite. We offer a variety of Hickory smoked meats, as well as hand cut steaks. There is something for everyone here at Big R's

We had the Ribs for two and they were great! Great food, atmosphere, and great service by our waitress Kylie.
The food is homemade, and made with love. Everything was exceptional. Our server, Riley was a total sweetheart. This place won't disappoint! :)
Traveling Route 66, hotel recommended and we were not disappointed! Food was amazing (ribs were to die for) but the service made us feel like we were with family. Our server, Riley was an amazing young lady, not only was the service great but the conversation as well. She took a true interest in us as people. If ever in Joplin again this is a must do for us!
Me and my husband always have a great experience when eating here. I feel bad for those that gave 1 stars, one bad apple shouldn't spoil the bunch!
Just sat and waited 20 minutes for a slice of pie to go. In an empty waiting room. With the host that took my order knowing I was there and never saying anything. Then when I finally got annoyed enough to say something, they reached around the corner for my pie that had been bagged and ready to go for, you guessed it, 20 minutes.
