RecommendedGreat bbq, wonderful potato salad and the best caramel apple streusel pie! Husband loved the burnt ends and coconut cream pie! Service and atmosphere was wonderful!

I'm from Oklahoma, my cousins are in Springfield, so we picked a spot halfway to meetup for dinner. Heard about y'all online, just throwing my 2 cents in to go with all the other onliners here, we didnt regret it for a second. By far some mighty fine barbecue! We had the ribs, very generous amount and fell off the bone. I would gladly travel across the plains for Mrs. R's baked beans alone! And that pie was just like I remember my Granny made growing up. Horrible service. Manager tonight a very cold person, not a very nice person. No apologies just excuses. Been going to every big r since started. Don't be back. Thanks to her, and service.
Really great food and HUGE portions!! Our waitress was super friendly and kept our drinks full! We got there around 5:00 and got a seat right away but noticed when we left the entryway and out doors was full of people waiting to get a table. So get there early!!
My daughter and I celebrated our birthdays here today with 2 other friends. It was great. Service was great, food was great, and because it was our birthday, they surprised us with brownies after our dinner. We were met at the table by a young man that asked if we wanted a high chair or a booster seat. (We didn't have to ask for it or go get it ourselves. Our server was very busy, but she came by to check on us twice. Great experience. Thank you Big R's
Excellent BBQ and the very best Coconut Cream Pie I have ever sampled. The awesome balance of flavor and totally unexpected lightness. Perfection. Can’t show a photo... it’s gone!
