I took my "Precious", Australian Shepherd /Great Dane mix puppy when she injured her hind leg at 4 months old. They were able to fit me in the same day, quoted me the costs for all options prior to treatment. The Vet preferred the least invasive treatment and left the decision up to me. Which is wonderful if you don't have a plush bank account. I chose the more expensive course just for my own sense of security.
