About this business

Located in the historic train station near downtown Birmingham, this looks like an upscale Montana hunting lodge, with Native American decorations and moose, elk and bear trophies and artifacts on the dark wood walls. The menu is heavy with huge hand-cut steaks and chops and a range of appetizers such as calamari, sautéed mushrooms, mountain-high onion ring and potato platters, and salads. Six hearty beers are brewed on the premises, and they fuel a lively singles scene that spills out to an open-air patio that is hea... read more

My husband took me here 3 years ago for a romantic dinner and I fell in love with it. We went back this year to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and ended up in the same booth with the same waiter. We had the filet and crab legs, mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. The food was delicious, the service superb, and the ambiance perfect. We will definitely being going back again when we visit Michigan.

Usually love this place and have spent a bunch of money here, that is why I decided to have my birthday dinner there. The service was subpar, they charged me for birthday cake I didn't order and refused to separate out checks. Oh and they tried to charge me a $25 corking fee for a bottle of alcohol free champagne that costs $10 bucks that I brought because I'm pregnant.

It was a nice restaurant. The food was good, but the restaurant air wasn't working, it was uncomfortable. Our server was not very nice, which was very disappointing. We were celebrating our 32nd Anniversary.

Best Happy Hour in town! Excellent calamari! Great prices on HH house wines and beer. Bar staff Lester and Ally are most attentive and friendly. Fun place to mingle.
