On April 4th, 2013, I was sold a 2000 Land Rover Discovery by Big Red Sports and Imports in Norman, Oklahoma after my 2001 Chevy Cavalier blew a rod after 8 years of ownership. I was saving for college and couldn't afford a vehicle so when I found the Land Rover for $5000 I thought it would be an incredible deal. As a previous customer and loan officer at a local bank I would personally NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone and steer my clients clear of purchasing from here. I bought my first car on my own through Big Red, huge mistake. The person I worked with (Cody) was extremely pushy and rude. However, I liked the car so I purchased it. The car had a recall that Big Red did not disclose to me and my car stalled out on a busy street and I was nearly hit. We got into a wreck ON THE WAY to Big Red to get a 2nd car. We pulled in smoking and leaking fluid! They accepted our trade in with promp greetings and lots of laughs. I felt like they took us under their wing and REALLY helped us out. Three hours after our accident, we were driving home in a new 2011 Versa happier and more relieved than ever imagined. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY FROM BIG RED KIA! THEY WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF YOUR VEHICLE WHEN THERE IS A PROBLEM. The "general manager" denied any responsibility for needing to fix my mother-in-law's car even though she drove it off the lot as a DEFECTIVE vehicle! Although I did not purchase my Kia from Big Red, I moved to Norman recently and took my car in for an oil change and diagnostics as my check engine light was on. There have been a few ongoing problems with my car because the problem could be caused by multiple things, but the service team has been spectacular! I have had to take my car in several times (as I travel on the weekends and although the check engine light has been on, it is safe to drive) and each time, everyone has been so helpful and friendly.
