Took a wheel there to have a tire mounted and balanced ended up with fresh gouges and a cracked wheel. Was told that the tire machine "might have gouged it but didn't crack it". They couldn't explain why the crack was right where the gouges are.
took my Silverado in for tires didnt put spare back underneath and they lost the keyed lock for spare, I give them another shot and they took over 3 hrs to do job on a car, the wheels are a mess of break dust and finger prints etc, a mentally Ill woman being loud and obnoxious about a liberal victory in waiting room and the only tire they could offer me was a very expensive and obviously junk Michelin tire that didnt even make it home a couple miles before went flat on my bmw... RecommendedI HIGHLY recommend these guys!! From the moment I walked in to the end, I was greeted with friendly smiles and outgoing personalities! I got a nail in my tire which is warrantied and bought in Wyoming. I now live 2 hours away from Ankeny and they were the closest option. I slapped a different tire on for the trip out here to find out that my wheel bearings were absolutely shot. They brought me out to the shop and showed me just how bad it was. The team at Big O Tires are fantastic! They really treated me like part of the family. When putting New tires on my car they noticed a few other things that need to be fixed. They called me to let me know that it was a safety issue and not a money issue for them. I love this place and can’t say enough good things about them. And as a woman I did NOT feel pressured, misjudged or taken advantage of. I am a customer for life!
I had a flat tire 10 mins before they were closing. They went above and beyond to help me and of course had to stay after there closing time. Not one employee complained and I didn't feel rushed out. Thank you again
I had to find a new tire due to an unfortunate passing of the owner of Flatts Tire. After he passed away they decided to close the doors and that forced me to search for another dealer. I went to Big O last Saturday and was treat very well in regards to having a tire repair done. The manager Doug treated me like I had been a customer for life with them. I highly recommend Big O Ankeny to anyone looking for a good tire shop and a great customer service atmosphere. Definitely a customer for life now.
I had a tire issue a half hour after they closed and got ZERO help from the guy inside! So I got to change a tire in their parking lot in the dark! No help, no offer of anything. When that clock got to closing they can’ Do anything. Needless to say i will NEVER stop at a Big O Tires again!!!!
