Incredible food, amazing service! Beef brisket was perfect! Mac n cheese was super creamy. Baked potato salad was a unique spin on a southern classic covered in cheesey bacon goodness. Smoked sausage was so delicious. The best baked beans I've ever had. Big Lee's tea was fruity but not to sweet, perfect with the barbeque!
1st time having it and wasn't disappointed at all. Fall off the bone tender and my 1 year old son was able to eat all the meats. Will be back.
Stopped by for lunch for the first time today and I was truly disappointed that I have never been here before. Big Lee's is by far the BEST BBQ I have ever had. If you can't decide on what you want, I highly recommend the Mr. Yes. A little bit of everything that can easily feed two people, or one very hungry person. The mac and cheese is second to none as well.
So I took a bite out of the burnt ends and told my wife "this is the best BBQ I've ever eaten". Then, I ate pulled pork and told my wife "this is the best BBQ I've ever eaten.". Then the brisket and the rib and I repeated the same thing... This is, in fact, the best BBQ I've ever had. The owner was very nice and so humble. He made me feel like I was his best customer. Anytime I'm driving by Ocala, I will make a stop at Big Lee's for the best I've ever had...
This place deserves more than 5 stars. This place is amazing!
Listen..I can’t stand this Lee guy right now because he has made it so I can never enjoy any other BBQ again!!! I hate you Lee these Burnt Ends are superb..Forget about the massive beef rib it’s enough to feed 2-3 people and in the process you might smack your momma it’s so tender and juicy!! RecommendedAbsolutely delicious! I had the burnt ends, beef short rib, baked potato salad, and banana pudding. My daughter had the pulled pork sandwich and mac and cheese. It was all awesome!!! Great job!
