Our first trip, had the brisket (1/2 & 1/2) with baked beans and mac n cheese and a 1/2 lb of burnt ends. The beans were a little too spicy for me, but tasted pretty good. Everything else was perfect, I couldn't believe it. Usually when folks say "it's the best" we don't care for it. Rashad was out back when we were leaving and asked us how it was. Very nice guy who was genuinely listening to us, but we had nothing critical to say. We appreciate the friendly service and delicious food.
We got in about 6 to Gainesville where my children’s grandma and Grammies met us to pick them up, and they brought us ribs and burnt ends! Okay we Texas Folk and this is way better than any BBQ in Texas that I have ever had! When we come back to get my kids we will be stopping by to pick up a load!

RecommendedMeat was very tender and juicy, that said we both found the sage (I think that is what we taste) is over powering. Good for many but not for us.
The food is mouth watering delicious and the service is on point. "Big Lee" Rashad always comes to greet his customers. Definitely great spot to visit and enjoy the best BBQ in Ocala, Fl!

So, today was my first experience at Big Lee's and I have to say... HOLY CUSTOMER SERVICE and the BEST BBQ I've ever had. And the Kathy... I can't even... Tastebud explosion. Rashad, you have a gift. Also it was also a pleasure to meet your son Caleb. Such a gentleman. See ya REAL soon.
