Used to be a great seafood location. My wife and I have gone there for years. However, in the past six months or so the service has been no more than adequate and the food is, as the current television commercial notes, "just O.K." It has deteriorated to just average, nothing to get excited about. Plus Big Dave's now charges an extra four percent for customers who use plastic to pay. May still go there occasionally but it will be less often than in the past unless there is some significant improvement.

I have been to big daves almost every week for about 5 years and I have introduced many from my county (McDowell) to try it ! Let me just say I have increased their business for them ! But after tonight I don’t know if I will be back and I know I won’t be bringing in new customers! My food was terrible! At first I noticed the hush puppies were hard and cold and burnt !
