The are selling the car as "the" pace car that was on the Indy track. When I inquired as to proof it was an on-track pace car edition I received a very tortured "to the best of my knowledge" type answer. Online sources show that the VIN was produced in June of 07 but the Indy 500 was earlier in the year, May of 2007. Not taking the internet info as necessarily accurate, I asked the seller to look at the door plate for me to confirm the build date. Never heard from them again.

After further review of our description of the vehicle- we conclude that the badging on the vehicle is from the manufacturer and authentic.The title reads "Pace car edition" as well as the stitching. We do not "actually" believe it paced the actual race....
