Big Catch Seafood House

4.3

About this business

Fresh seafood is the impetus behind the menu at this popular restaurant, where crawfish, crab and clams come in large portions. Some of the other items on the menu include shrimp and calamari appetizers, fish and chips, gumbo, as well as a hearty lobster roll and soft-shell crab sandwich. The lobster here is usually of the culled variety, which means that it has only one claw, but at a better price.

This place over charged us for brunch. They have it listed at $28.99 per person for brunch and then once you sit down they tell you it changed to $34.99 per person. We also had a reservation for 11am and they were closed when we arrived. We had to wait 15 minutes before they opened the doors and they didn't have much set up. When we left at 12:50 they were just starting the a crepe area. I wasn't happy when the manager didn't honor their advertisement for $28.99 per person. I don't recommend this place

Food is really good. Customer service is NOT good. Constantly have to wave the waitresses down when we need something every time we go.

Certainly worth the money for crab legs, oysters, prime rib, mimosas & more. However, I wouldn't go with the expectation of getting an array of seafood options/dishes as a "buffet" it was a bit limited in that aspect. Overall, the service was great, the Mgr was our server which is not very common to see a Mgr working their tail off, Kudos to you Christina! I'd give this place a 5☆ rating but unfortunately we were told there were "many" more options of food for those that weren't going for the crab/seafood.
