I was raised in Kansas city and my wife is Texan and raised around bbq I just want to say we were very impressed with big Bob's and will definitely be back and highly recommend big Bob's.
I just left the 6th Avenue location I was in the drive thru for a ridiculous amount of time. I was at the menu board for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. When I finally got my food and made it home there was green juice all over my food from the way it was packaged in the bag.
I got 2 Bbq pork potatoes and I was very disappointed. They both had maybe 2 tablespoons of bbq and very little anything else. My husband loves to eat there and even he was very upset at what we recieved. Not to mention I spent well over 20 minutes in the drive thru.

Me, My husband, our 2 kids, & our 2 nephews were in there yesterday. I got ribs, our son and nephew got hot dogs, my husband and step-daughter got bbq sandwiches and our other nephew got a baked potato and fries. We all enjoyed it and we will definitely be back. We loved the food and the ribs were so delicious!!! Thank y’all for the wonderful service. Y’all are amazing, keep up the good work. We were there all the way from Walnut, MS. We will come back next time with the rest of the family.

Me and my friend got the 3 meat little sampler platter. We got pulled pork, beef brisket, and smoked turkey.it was a big enough portion for us girls to share. It was all really good but I believe the brisket was the best I've ever had. They have lots of sides to choose from we got green beans and Mac n cheese. OMG the mac n cheese was awesome. I recommend if you are in Decatur Alabama you gotta try this place. Just watch out walking in ,don't trip on all of the BBQ trophies. Lol
