We’ve been to Bob Gibson BBQ many times over the years for great food. However, we’ve finally decided to no longer get their (once great) homemade pie. Gradually, there has become less pie filling, more meringue on top, not enough crumbs in the crust, and (seemingly) smaller slices. The price is no object. We used to love 💕 to finish a meal with the pie, or get it to go. We’re saddened. The homemade pie was always a factor in our decision to drive the 36 miles.
Recommendedas a frequent visitor driving from Mobile Alabama to Tennessee it's always great to stop in and have great barbecue. Now while the food was amazing ,the service was less than desirable for me and my wife. we arrived this afternoon at 7:40 and was seated at table 40. took a few minutes to get to us which is understandable as we are servers and we know things happen in a restaurant . The food is absolutely disgusting, old tasting, and dry! The restaurant was filthy, and the parking lot was full of litter. The staff is rude, and can’t be bothered to do their jobs. I’ll never be back!

RecommendedYears ago (2010 maybe) I went to Alabama for training for my job. One day we went to Big Bob’s for lunch and had the best baked potato ever. I picked up a bottle of the Habanero sauce to bring back with me to PA for my boyfriend. He loved it. Years later we’re now married and we still order cases of our favorite BBQ sauce from Big Bob Gibson. Much love from PA!! ❤️❤️
