Real smoked Bbq! Quit going to those chain store bbqs...just frozen reheated stuff. Big Bob's is smoked on site...fresh first-served meat at a modest price! Good sauces too. If you bbq store doesn't have a smoke stack, then keep driving to Big Bob Gibson's!

Great food. I expected the chicken with white sauce to be great and it is, but the brisket and ribs were also great. I also enjoyed the sides. I had the baked beans and the Mac and cheese. Service was also great and staff was really helpful.
ribs were awesome . the red sauce was so good had to buy a bottle to take home.
If I had to sum up Big Bobs in one word it would be Overrated. All of those trophies they have doesn't transfer into the food you get in the restaurant. I have had much better BBQ at lots of other places in Alabama. The best thing they have is their smoked wings. The worst thing they have is the ribs, I would be embarrassed to serve ribs like they do. Service is hit or miss. sometimes served with a dose of attitude.
The King, The Master, The Guru of Q! Always. Just the aroma in the parking lot gets the juices flowing.
