I love Big Bass Lake. It is such a peaceful & beautiful communiy.
It's sad that we are supposed to be a retirement community. But we cater to mostly summer people. Some ridiculous rules. People are speeding all over. I have almost been run over twice. How about some more patrols & speed traps or speed Bumps some rules not enforced fairly I had a BLUE tarp covering my tractor for 2 months. I was doing a project in my garage. Want to give me a $20. Moved out 14 yrs ago. Never looked back. Dues were never ending, Going up every yr, Rent a cops for security Telling me what I could do with my home.This place taught me to Never buy into an HOA!
If you love the woods and a private feel you'll love Big Bass Lake. So many amenities, 2 pools one indoor, one out plus there's a beach at the lakes with lifeguards. Tennis and basketball and in the winter snow tubing and skiing. On site security 24 hours. Great place to live.
They dont care about the permament people that rent for year allways finding ways for more money from them have to pay for what is in here to go to was never like that years ago for permMent renters they were able to get badage from home owner go three badages for full time renters every year and then if you had extra people coming then you had to buy them this place is not like it use to be and for some one that worked in here to say this.
Just paid over $4000.00 in dues since January for two homes.. Never late in 18 years!! Went to get my my badges and windshield stickers and the association would not give them to me.. My renter has a ticket he didn't pay.. $60.00 Are you kidding me?? Can't think of any where, anyone I ever knew had their landlord responsible for their driving record.. After 18 years and 4 grand for the last 6 of those years the association considers me not in good standing.. Can't get my stuff.. Lol it's laughable.. Talk about a money grubbi... read more
Has too many rules but keep nice Also quite expensive per year
Been here since December and its very nice. I'm loving the quietness and barely any traffic
