My father owned a small house in Big Bass Lake back in the early 80's were we had fond memories. As our families grew he purchased a bigger home and we had more memorable times. After he passed, we sold the house and needless to say, we missed Big Bass Lake. Now that my wife and I are getting older and have our own children with grandchildren we decided to start our own memories anew. We purchased a new home in Big Bass Lake last year and are thrilled! My husband and I bought a second home here last year. We love the community. It's quaint, neat and quiet. We love that the entire community has larger lots so there is privacy. The community association does a good job of organizing events for all ages and interests. They also do a great job maintaining the streets and common area. Don't let the reviews from some cranky old-timers deter you. This is a great place to settle in the Poconos.
