They take your gold and claim some pieces arent gold when they are stamped and previously checked by other jewelers They lower your price by claiming melting and process fees
took my 14ky gold for pricing per pennyweight was giving a price of $12.00 per dwttook it to a jeweler, got $24.00 per dwt.check for prices
Sent them my gold that had already been seperated and weighed by local jeweler. They said some of it was not gold (the other jeweler had already tested everything and it was gold) so they would only pay me for a portion of what I sent. They were trying to get the real gold that they said wasn't for free! I asked to have it sent back and "surprise" it was "lost". I have stopped dealing with this company all together! They are arrogant, they nickel and dime you to death, and often lie and use all tactics to give you less than they advertise. Every time you arrive you get a new buyer that asks you all the usual gauge questions. They feel you out to see how much of an advantage they can take of you. Im a dealer and they try it with me every time. Image what they do to the poor guy that doesn't know any better.usgoldbuyers.com = crooks in my book.
