Bidwell is inside Union Market in DC. There's a big parking lot with three free hours of parking. It's one of maybe 30 Cafes, bars, dessert stands and shops inside a huge space. Bidwell says they grow much of their produce on their rooftop garden. Menu is Southern flavors. Some of their signature dishes include Crispy Deviled Eggs, Lobster Tacos, and Gin & Tonic Salmon. Also Neapolitan-style pizzas.
This restaurant is closed with no info available on line. The website says it's open but on Sat 5/23 I was at the site and it is locked up.
Everything we tried was delicious.
What a terrible experience. This used to be my favorite place in union market and for the past few years it’s been terrible. Food used to be fantastic and now is mediocre but the worse part it’s their manager. I’ll like to blame her for bringing this place down. She clearly does not care or know basic customer service. Not returning.
I visited Bidwell Restaurant and had a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was relaxed yet stylish, making it a great place to unwind after a long day or meet up with friends. It has that easygoing DC vibe where you can feel comfortable whether you’re dressed up or keeping it casual.
