This waiting area at the end of the hallway is gross. Floors are so nasty and it’s 8am. Place Just opened. Bugs on the floor. I’m almost afraid to sit on this couch thinking more bugs will be visible. The waiting room is absolutely ridiculous. It seats like 6 people and so stuffy at that. Come on expand — open up a wall — give some breathing room or put in an air purifier at the front desk where patients can SEE it !! Too crowded not to have one. I have been a patient of the heart and vein center for several years now. When I first went my legs were swelling badly. My left would swell so badly my foot would swell out of my shoe, etc. I was diagnosed with venous reflux disease. Had an ablation done on the left leg and a few years later a venaseal done on the right leg. My swelling is almost non-existent now. They told me on Friday 10-18-24 that I had a doctor appointment today 10-19-24 on a Saturday at 8:45 am when they are closed made me drive over an hour away just to find that I got lied too

I went in for a routine venous reflux ultrasound study and Brittany discovered a clot behind my knee, which if dislodged, could proved fatal. She immediately contacted Dr. Thompson, and they started a blood thinner before I left for home. I cannot thank Brittany and Dr. Thompson enough for their coordinated and compassionate care.
