I was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect at 47 (although I never had any issues or symptoms). I was told I would need yearly monitoring and (most probably) eventual surgery. I am so grateful to have Dr Bhatia as my doctor.Besides his wealth of knowledge and attentive care, he is a wonderful person.As others have said, when he is with you, he definitely makes one feel as if he is totally interested in answering any questions, and gives updates on current medical information pertinent to your health.I appreciate him so much.He is the best!Confidence in your doctor is so important, and being in his care makes me feel lucky to have found him. You don’t find many like him!
Dr. Bhatia is phenomenal. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things medical, not just his specialty in cardiology. He's so popular, you must schedule appointments 6 months or more in advance.
This review is more about the staff than Dr. Bhatia. He is one of the BEST doctors I've had. Unfortunately for him, his staff (specifically CRYSTAL - his assistant) is one of the most incompetent, inattentive, unresponsive medical 'professionals' I've worked with. There is a $750 admin. fee per year, but yet I can't get a call back about an appointment, a renewed prescription or refill and billing questions. How this woman still has a job is bewildering. And I am one of many people who feel this way about her. Ask around.
Dr. Bhatia is so smart and thorough. In addition, he is an excellent listener and doesn’t hesitate to answer all your questions. His advice has always been perfect.
Dr. Bhatia brings superior training and technical ability to a deep commitment to his patients. He treated my wife for years for a highly complicated heart condition with a great outcome when other highly respected docs offered dire predictions. In doing so he coordinated willingly with experts at Stanford Medical who had a task force at work focused on her specific issue. My initial doctor recommended Dr Bhatia and is himself a patient. Dr Bhatia is not only a wonderful doctor, he’s also a wonderful human bring.
I am a Dr. Bhatia’s patient for over 10 years. He is not only my cardiology doctor, he is also my primary care doctor. He is the most knowledgeable, sharp, quick thinking doctor, kind and wonderful human being. I am proud to have him as my doctor.
I have only seen Dr. Bhatia a few times, but it is clear that he listens carefully and knows his specialty and general medicine as well. He responds quickly to messages on his portal and was willing to take my word for it when I told him I was not doing well with a certain medication--he changed it to another one.
