PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO USE THIS BUSINESS!! Our brand new (less than a year old system) was installed and less than a year later the air compressor broke. They told us that that never happens when it's this new and is still covered under warranty. We've been trying to get the internal coil replaced in our mini-split since early June. I needed to call them 2 weeks after diagnosis to get a status update, the part had not been ordered. I got the service scheduled late on week 5 (July 17). Service was cancelled as the tech was sick, scheduled the next day (July 18), same reason was given the next day. Rescheduled for July 24th. Writing this on behalf of my parents, who have heat pumps from BG. In the beginning (2019), the service was amazing, but now it’s terrible. Their unit in the living room broke in April 2025, and after several calls, BG finally came to look at it. A part for the air conditioner needed replaced and BG said they would order the part and come back within a couple weeks. Then they were told it would be six weeks to get the part. They are the worst company i have ever had the misfortune to have a contract with. I've been waiting since early/mid May for a new compressor and have gotten the run around since. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Terrible service!!! I booked an appointment a few months ago because my heat pump was no longer working (still under warranty). They showed up at the first appointment to diagnose the issue and have not attended every appointment since. When I would call to report the no-show, they would assure me that it was a mistake and/or an emergency and then guarantee that someone would show up next time.
