Came for the lecture on The Early History of Women's Cycling in Chicago, and it was very cool. I mean, what a great bike shop. This shop has got it going-on!

The only bike shop I'll go to! I came in on a rainy Friday shortly before close. It was a busy night for the shop but I was still given very careful attention and lots of amazing advice. I bought my Public C7 and can't be more satisfied with it! I took it to a "bike party" where folks showed up with $1500+ bikes but I still received so many compliments on mine. I would recommend them to everyone for their patient and relaxed style, non-pushy sales advice, and great selection.

Just bought a bike from Annie, what a great experience! She talked me through my options, encouraged me to try and re-try a few bikes (with my husband taking out a bike of his own to ride with me!), made adjustments, and answered questions about technical specifications. I'm 5'2" so I was very excited that they had so many bikes in my size. I also discovered some great brands for accessories in the adorable, cozy shop. Highly recommend!
I wanted to thank you guys for the awesome experience I had in your store today! My boyfriend and I checked out a few other bike shops before making it to BFF, and I felt sort of uncomfortable and didn't see much of what I was looking for at the other places. I would absolutly recommend bff bikes to a friend. Great experience. I ate up hours of annie's time and she never once made me feel rushed or guilty about it. I left with a perfect-for-me bike that I feel confident on and a renewed enthusiasm for training. Thank you for all of it!
Whole staff is more than helpful! Even though a female-geared shop, due to convenience, I have brought my bike in a couple of times now for quick fixes and minor tutorials because I'm a novice when it comes to anything bike related. Will be back for sure, Thanks!
