Had an enjoyable evening with a bowl of Jazzy Shrimp 'n' Grits, and of course the wonderful music of Dr. Ira Wiggins and his Quartet. The ambiance, the textures, the feel of this place is spot on....
Great music-centered atmosphere, great food, classy audience, very helpful and kind staff good sound quality. Great band too (Ira Wiggins)! I highly recommend this place.
Wednesday night open mic is the best time. The music is off the chain and you never know who's going to show up, singers, spoken word, guitar player, musicians from all over! I always have a good time. I must add the manager is just the sweetest, personable, man I've ever met, he's the greatest!
The Beyu is the place to go for great food entertainment and a friendly atmosphere. It has become a great "hangout" venue for me and my classmates "Hillside Class of 81." We do not have to think twice about where we will meet and fellowship. The Beyu is always the top choice. Shout out to Brett's Open Mike Night. Wednesday nights at The Beyu is the place to be!!

Caught an excellent jazz-fusion band at Beyu Caffee. It was part of the Art of the Cool music festival in Durham this weekend.
