Wonderful venue with a great wait staff! The atmosphere is cozy & the live music is excellent! I think it’s definitely one of Durham’s hot spots. Beyu Caffe has never disappointed me!

great food and coffee. a friend took me there for a biz meeting. very good staff and positive vibes. i live in fayetteville and will go to beyu whenever im in durham going forward
The menu keeps changing you never know what the choices are going to be. Service has never been up to par unless you sit right at the bar. The change between the two shows is always chaotic and confusing. The best thing that keeps bringing us back is the music. The music is always outstanding. They should probably stick to only one show a night and charge more for it. We choose to eat elsewhere and only drink water because of the service and menu options. The 3 stars are for the music only.
I visited Beyu Caffe last night for my friend's birthday. The food was awesome and the service was outstanding. The live performance by M3: MARCUS YOUNG, MARCUS CANTY & MARCUS MITCHELL (SAX/KEYS/VOCALS) was beyond amazing. Although it was a VERY full house the staff treated us as if we were the only customers in the room, the owner stopped by to not only tell us about a project in the works, but to get our thoughts on it.
