We were interested in renting an apartment Beverly Realty was representing/managing. I phoned on a Thursday and spoke with Mary. I asked if we would be able to view the apartment in the following couple of days, perhaps Saturday. She told me the unit is occupied and she would have to check with the tenant. She phoned me back and said that the only time we could view the property would be the following day, Friday, between 5 and 6 pm. We accepted. Beverly Johnson, owner of Beverly Realty is the most unprofessional, dishonest business person I have ever dealt with. She had my home rented for 3 years and was suppose to "manage" it. I visited the house before some new tenants moved in and was appalled at the condition my home was in. Beverley's words to me prior to seeing the home, "it looks great", it didn't look great. There were broken gutters, the house needs to be painted, the yard was in disarray just to mention a few things. We had new tenants moving in in 3 days... read more
